“Did you get what you wanted from this life, even so?
And what did you want?
To call myself Beloved, To feel myself Beloved, On Earth.”
Begun in 2008, Beloved offers you a community within St. Bernard and our Catholic Church. Our hope is that together we can rediscover what often eludes us but what God wants us to know: that we are Beloved. We offer a safe, open and inclusive environment in which you can explore your relationship with God and yourself.
You have the opportunity to explore your faith through Beloved Spirituality Dinners and one day Beloved Reflection gatherings— to help us connect and to deepen our roots as a community of believers.
Beloved community gatherings are held periodically following 5:15 pm Liturgy on Saturday. Please join us for dinner and share in a short spiritual reflection and fellowship. New friends are always welcome as we seek to help one another to reconnect and reaffirm our identity as God’s beloved sons and daughters.
Additionally, the Beloved Community sponsors a one-day reflection during Lent, open to the entire St. Bernard parish and beyond. This includes spiritual reflections, fellowship and food. Opportunities to participate in the Beloved community include:
- Serving on the team for Reflection day (give a talk, explore a topic of interest, sing, logistics support)
- Organizing social events and spiritual formation opportunities
